My wife just got an iphone 12 and she needs a adapter cable so he can charge In the car. I think the phone has an A plug. But what would the other end be to plug into the USB in the car(jeep)

The charging cable that came with the iPhone should work. It may need a USBC to USB A adaptor, which would connect to the USB port in the car.
