Is there any way around the 20 mb download limit over cell data? I have a couple apps that require me go be on wifi to update them.

I wish. Hate having to tether from my iPad to download a file that's 22mb

I understand the bandwidth but really what's wrong with making the limit 50mb. It's not like we're downloading 24/7

Not only can't we download more than X MB per session, but if we go over X GB we're threatened with being slowed down. Oh well, it's like a buffet right? You pay a restaurant $7.99 for a lunch buffet but they aren't going to let you bring 10 of your friends and just pay for 1, or stay there all day and eat breakfast/lunch/dinner. Still, I think it's pretty sad to advertise "unlimited" or 2/5/10GB and not let us use it the way we want.

Jailbreak and use 3G unrestrictor. Works like a charm and u can download as large of apps or updates as u want
I think the reason that they plug the d/l size is because they dont offer unlimited data any more. This way those with capped data cant accidentally go over there 2/5/10 gb limit. Granted it would take a lot of 20 mb to get to that but still customers can't say that Verizon didn't really attempt to do anything before they started charging.
