My iphone 4 is 4.1(8B117) and NOT jailbroken.

Should I update to 4.2.1 then jailbreak?

jailbreak 4.1 then update to 4.2.1 and jailbreak again.

Which jailbreak is best to use

Are all the jailbreaks unteathered.
