Bluetooth icon is displayed, doesn't finds any other device even when the Bluetooth is switched on n visible on both devices

are you trying to connect to non Apple devices? Apple devices won't connect via Bluetooth to other devices such as android phones ect.

Trying to connect my iPad with iPhone, iPad's Bluetooth is working ok, but iPhone's bluetooth is not working, iPad's connected to my Sony laptop thru Bluetooth, it's just that iPhone's not getting connected to any device, NoR is it showing any discoverable devices
