4s- Siri isnt reading me my text messages anymore

Just as the title says. I used to ride in the car and she would read me my new texts. Now, I ask her to read them, she seems to try, then silence. She then asks me if I want to have her reply, read it again, etc.
btw, I am using a bluetooth headset (moto h7something). I know she will only read your messages to you when you have a headset plugged in or bluetooth.
Any ideas?
