4S won't ring after iOS 7

The speaker works with music but the phone won't ring (vibrate only) and no notification sounds after iOS 7 update. Any ideas what the problem could be?

Make sure that the device is not muted and that the tones set for the actions are pointed towards valid tones as they may still be pointed towards custom ringtones that are no longer present if applicable.

How did you do the notifications thing? I have looked in the settings > notifications, all turned on, still no sound and not even the banner.
