Okay, so I had already upgraded my phone to iOS 4.2.7 before deciding I wanted to jailbreak. Of course, like everyone else, I was unable to find a means of jailbreaking 4.2.7. I can confirm, however, that if you download the 4.2.6 ipsw file and Shift+Restore in iTunes, you can easily downgrade to 4.2.6 and use greenpois0n to jailbreak from there. I have seen this question asked in various forums so I wanted to lay it all out there. It does, in fact, work.

The only real reason I had for jailbreaking was to use pdanet. Being able to tether to my iPad when on the road was my only real mission. What other jailbreaks apps do you recommend?
