A Tiny Game of Pong is Literally Available for the Apple Watch

Gaming on the Apple Watch has shown to be less than ideal, and while a few games have tried to make it work, we have yet to see anything become a big hit. While many games are just too difficult to play on such a small screen, a new take on a classic game from developer Matt Wiechec might be just fine.

A Tiny Game of Pong for Apple Watch is exactly what the name claims. Wiechec developed a version of the classic Atari hit, playable on one's wrist. The game uses the Digital Crown on the Watch to move the paddle from the left to right side of the screen. The player will attempt to beat the AI opponent in a best-of-three Classic mode, or can see how long he or she can last in endless Arcade mode.

The app is free to download in the App Store for a limited time, but also has a single in-app purchase for $.99. For just under a buck, players can enable Classic mode, ten custom colored themes, a Supporter Badge, and worldwide leaderboards via Game Center.
