accessing calendar during a call?

Hi all,

I'm having some problems accessing the iCal (calendar) during an active phone call. I need to do this to make appointments and put them in my schedule there and then.

During a call, I only have 6 options: Add call (to bring others in), Facetime, Contacts, Speaker, Keypad or Mute. None of these options give access to the calendar and there is no "home" option either.

I'd really appreciate any help!

Push the home button to get out of the call (yet still being connected, it won't end the the call) and go to the calendar from there. Tap the green "return to call" bar at the top of the screen when done.
