Activate Iphone 4

Hi guys,

I have a little problem here, i just baught an iphone 4 and when i insert my sim it comes up with insert a valid sim to activate the phone with an itunes logo in the background...

I have no idea what firmware the phone is as i cannot get into the homescreen...

I was wondering if anyone could help me try to activate or unlock the phone...

As i said i cannot get into the homescreen, the phone is stuck on the itunes screen with invalid sim inserted message.

My phone is ATT USA, it came locked onto that network, and there was a SIM inside it. To activate I just insert that SIM and cconnect to iTunes.

If your phone is new it should have that SIM.

If it's used you can ask previous owner.

You can buy one on eBay.

You can hacktivate using sn0wbreeze, it has an option for that.

You'd need SIM or hacktivation every time you upgrade phone firmware.

where did you buy the phone from? and what network is it locked to?

are you trying to use a different carrier to the one you bought it from ?... more info pls
