Phone: iPhone 4S (new)
Hi everyone,
I have a cable service email account (RoadRunner) on my home computer using Outlook and have been unsuccessful in properly setting up this account to my iPhone.
I used "Other" when initially attempting to add this email account and completed the required fields. I thought my attempt was successful as existing messages populated my inbox and I am able to recieve new emails, but have not been able to send any out, receiving a message that my email address was rejected by the server.
Under my Mail Settings, the "Outgoing Mail Server" is set up as "smtp-server.nyc.rr.com" (nyc.rr.com being the cable service email server). Did I set up this account incorrectly or via the wrong method?
