I routinely have my iphone plugged into my car stereo while driving. I'm trying to figure out the various volume settings in that mode. I've noticed that when an alert comes in, the media volume will briefly decrease and then a barely audible alert sound will play. If I'm not paying very close attention, this is very easy to miss. I've checked all the volume settings that I can find (volume rocker, the one you get by double clicking and swiping right, etc) and they're all turned up. Yes I know about reading a text while driving. I don't want to read the text or e-mail, I just want to know that one came in.
