With all the excitement and discussion over whether the iPhone 5 is or isnt going to be launched at the end of June (probably isnt), the elusive white iPhone 4 has been a little over looked. All recent reports seemed to indicate that we would be getting the white iPhone 4 around spring time, but the leaves are on the trees and pollen is in the air and other generally spring-like things are happening, but still no white iPhone 4. Could it be that Apple really has canned it after all? Developments noted by Cult of Mac and many other sites today are looking a little ominous. According to Cult of Mac, following the Apple Stores brief downtime this morning, the one major change when it came back online was that all trace of the white iPhone 4 had been removed. For example, the picture of the iPhone 4 bumpers previously featured white iPhone 4s as well as black ones, but now, as you can see from the above photo, they've been replaced by all black ones. Basically, you wont find a sniff of a white iPhone 4 anywhere on the store. Could this just be a coincidence, or maybe a sign that the white iPhone 4 is no more? Seems a little strange now that we have the white iPad 2, and Apple has clearly solved the production problems it was having with the white paint. Maybe Apple has just decided to wait and release a white iPhone 5 instead.
