According to Chinese social network Weibo, this year's iPhones might be packing slightly larger batteries inside. The rumor comes in the form of alleged spy shot photos from Apple's supply chain. The photos show an iPhone 7 battery casing at 1,735 mAh and an iPhone 7 Plus battery at 2,810 mAh. This of course is compared to the current iPhone 6S at 1,715 mAh and iPhone 6S Plus at 2,750 mAh.
While the increase doesn't seem to be too significant, the larger batteries might be important for Apple's future A10 processor. We won't know for certain how much, or even if, the new batteries will increase battery life, but we might been seeing some better leaks after WWDC 2016 in June.
