Hi borad members - my third post
I want to clean up my iTunes folder... my music/itunes/itunes media/mobile applications/
It's grown to a massive 5.35Gig and I suspect many of these files are redundant.
I find 325 files here, many appear to be older copies/versions of the same apps. Like there is;
dictionary 1.ipa - (dated, 14/04/10 - size, 33,262kbs) *
dictionary 3.4.ipa - (dated, 27/12/11 - size, 33,505kbs) #
dictionary 3.ipa - (dated, 22/12/10 - size, 33,603kbs)
dictionary.ipa - (dated, 14/04/10 - size, 33,262kbs) *
and I only have one "dictionary" app installed (so these 4 files all relate to that app)
* note these two files are dated the same and are the same size
# I suspect this one is the only one I need to keep
If I were to delete ALL but the most recent would I be doing any damage or is my hunch correct that I would simply be removing previous versions of "dictionary.ipa"?
I love a good clean up
