MacRumors reports that well-connected KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has told investors today that Apple will be launching all three forthcoming iPhones at the same time in September, despite previous rumours that the iPhone 8 would be delayed. Kuo also said that the phones would be available in just three colour choices: black, silver, and gold. It's not known if "gold" is referring to the copper-ish colour that leaked yesterday, or if those images were in fact fake.
Kuo adds that all three models will support fast charging, but you might have to buy a Type-C power adaptor in order to take advantage of the feature, similar to how the latest iPad Pro is able to use the $49 29W USB-C power adaptor for the MacBook to charge faster.
Kuo goes on to say that Apple will start production verification tests on the iPhone 8 at the end of August, ready for mass production in mid-September. Previously, Kuo estimated that mass production might be delayed until mid-October, so it sounds like Apple has done a great job of getting the production schedule back on track.
