T3 reports that Angry Birds Seasons has just received a massive new update, with a brand new summer adventure called Piglantis. The update has 30 new tropical levels, and introduces underwater physics to the Angry Birds universe, with the birds taking to the water for the very first time. When you fling them at the water, youll find that the birds float and the pigs sink, which changes the dynamic of the usual Angry Birds gameplay completely. Aside from thwarting those pesky pigs, of course, the games ultimate aim is to defeat the King Pig in his tropical lagoon kingdom. This is Angry Birds Seasons first update since March, but Rovio more than makes up for the wait with the new gameplay style and the joyful summer vibe of the graphics and music. Great to see that Rovio is continuing to develop its physics engine for updates, creating almost entirely new games instead of simply resting on its laurels.
