Angry Birds Space Hailed as Fastest Growing Mobile Game With 50 Million Downloads

Rovio has proudly announced today that Angry Birds Space has succeeded in smashing the milestone of 50 million downloads in 35 days, which makes it the fastest-growing mobile game so far, breaking all of Rovio’s previous Angry Birds records. Rovio said that it was “thrilled” in a statement on its blog, adding:

“We extend our deepest gratitude to all fans of Angry Birds everywhere. While numbers like this certainly say something about the popularity of Angry Birds, for us the main goal is to keep creating fun new experiences that everybody can enjoy! We just launched the first free update for Angry Birds Space, with plenty more surprises in stock.”

The game has just had 10 new levels released in an update, which features 20 free Space Eagles, you just have to log into the game once a day to get your free Space Eagle.
