another icloud question (swapping accounts)

have an ipad at home and i use my icloud account on that one so can see contacts, calendars, photostream etc. (from my iphone)

lets say though that my wife wanted to use her icloud on the ipad. So I would go to icloud > settings > delete account at the bottom. Then can log my wifes account in.

But will deleting my icloud account from ipad erase all data that im storing on icloud?

Icloud is very good, high praise to it but its so difficult to predict whats going to happen when you ask it to do something.

it isnt difficult. one account per device at any given time. log out of one and into another, the data from the first account is gone from the device.

ok i know the data from the first account is gone from the "device" but is it still being held on my "icloud"?
