Anybody ever figure out how to get the scrub bar back when playing an mp3?

There's no hack for it. As long as it's the Music.app we're talking about, as already stated in your previous thread, tapping the album art once will bring up the scrub bar.

The Music App? Are you referring to the one pre installed on the iphone?

I tried it with a different mp3 it must not work with certain mp3s that don't have album artwork.

Are you looking at your iphone in Portrait or Landscape? Turn it to portrait. On my phone all playback shows the scrub bar in portrait mode.

Oh vertical or horizontal. I have it locked on the left one.

Try it with the aspect lock off and see if it shows the scrub bar. All of mine do in Portrait, even without album art downloaded. Maybe locking the aspect llimits that.

Orientation lock shouldn't have any effect on it. The scrub bar is showing and hiding by tapping the album art on my iOS 5, 6 and 7 devices.
