Anyone else kind of pissed with the announcement of the new iPod Touch?

It can do basically everything the iPhone 4 can! (minus the phone)

Man, I should have just gotten an iPod touch.

Also, i heard the GamingCenter will be exclusive to the iPod Touch. Is that true?

If you hadn't noticed that's always how iPod Touch's have been.
ALWAYS.

Ipod touch has always been an alternative way of getting the same item just not the 3G plan + phone calling.
Reason why I upgraded from my touch to iPhone was simply because of 3G and I needed a faster processor

The game center is not exclusive to just the ipod touch. Also whats his name is right. Thats always how the ipod touch's have been. The same specs as the iphone without the phone. See, heres what you have to understand. Technology is changing so fast that you will NEVER have the latest and greatest. This applies especially to any apple products. Unless you stupidly rich or are jobs himself, youre apple device will always become outdated after a year. The sooner you can come to terms with that, the sooner you will appreciate your product.

Yeah I agree with the others. I still like and occasionally use my First gen iPod Touch, just not too much because I have the iPhone 4.

Gaming centre is definitely coming to 4.1. It's the only reason I'm happy to my current jailbreak and all the stuff I've currently done to my 4. That game they played at the conference looked awesome.

Plus I really liked the new iPods. The new nano is something I will definetly be getting.

lol i think it was amazing what they did with the ipod touch, dont forget its only going to get better so if you get it in a few years then there is no harm done, imagine in a few years what they will do with it so dont feel pissed from now. the iphone 4 isent exactly crap... and if you dont use the phone or text then just dont use those features... simple plus ipod touch users have to pay for some updates. or they did? i dont know if thats changed now?

lol well once again im going to agree with everyone else. I mean wasn't it the same thing when the first IPod Touch came out lol. Also I mean if you want to switch to a different phone then that your choice but I chose the IPhone because I liked what it offered but i mean the Blackberry Torch is always tempting lol
