App Badges and Numbers

Not sure if it's even possible, but if it is, sombody out there should know.
The numbers on the apps badges (like the ones that tell you how many new text messages you have and such)...is there a way to remove just the number, not the actual badge or to modify the numbers (make them somewhat transulcent) without effecting the any other fonts throughout the rest of the iPhone areas?

Not sure about hiding the numbers but not the badges, or just modifying the number even. I do know that Springtomize has an option to 'Disable All Badges' which just stops the badges with numbers appearing full stop. There is also an option to individually choose which app icon to hide the badges on. Is that any good to you? Using either option doesn't affect any of the other fonts of the actual icons or anything else on the iPhone...

No that does not help actually. I have Batman themed badges that I want to be displayed, but the numbers over top of it I don't really need....I don't need to know I have 3 new texts, just that there are new texts (same applies for all the other badge notifications).....
