App Store Shows False Update Badge

My app store keeps showing that I have several updates available, but only on the badge indicator. When I open app store and go to updates it shows nothing. I have restarted app store as well as device several times and it still remains the same. Curious. I have found a few threads of this happening back in 09 as well. Anyone else having these issues?

Delete it from your phone Then reinstall it again

Update.
The badge finally went away, not sure why. Will reply if it happens again.
It was like this for about a week now and all of the sudden gone. Weird
