App Store shows Red 1

My phone is Jailbroken and I had a update in App Store for a app I downloaded via Installous, so I changed the setting in Installous to remove meta data and it keeps showing the red 1 on the App Store icon, so I run Updates and says All Apps Are Up to Date, the red 1 goes away but comes back again later going through the Update process again gives the same results, I have deleted the app as I have never used it but still shows the red 1 on the App Store icon from time to time.
Is there a reset or something like that to get rid of it completley??

Restart your phone, if it doesn't go away the softreset your phone.
