On stage at WWDC today, Apple's Craig Federighi has announced a few big new features for CarPlay. Apple has updated CarPlay so that it supports apps by the automaker so it can control things in your car without switching interfaces.
Thus, Apple CarPlay is going wireless, meaning drivers won't have to take out their iPhone and plug it into a USB to use it. Also, cars can now use different display sizes and high-DPI screens. Apple also announced that more car makers will soon join the list of those who already support CarPlay.
