Apple Begins Selling Magnetic Charging Dock for Apple Watch

Yesterday, photos leaked of what was alleged packaging for an Apple Watch charging dock made by Apple. On Wednesday, the photos became a reality when Apple released the Magnetic Charging Dock for the Apple Watch.

The Magnetic Charging Dock is a disk shape stand that can charge any model Apple Watch, no matter what size or material. The white disk has a stand in the middle, where the Apple Watch can either be placed in landscape or portrait mode. Having two different positions allows users to enable Nightstand Mode, a new feature in watchOS 2.

Apple is selling the Magnetic Charging Dock for a whopping $79 on its website and several stores in the US. The dock comes with a two-meter Lightning cable, which connects to the rear of the dock.
