Looking for more assurance that Apple will be releasing two new iPhone models in the near future, look no further. It seems that Apple has just gained approval to sell two iPhone 6 models in Thailand.
Takorn Tantasith, the Secretary General of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission in Thailand, announced yesterday the approval of Apple's distribution application. The Secretary also tweeted the approval via is @TakornNBTC Twitter account.
According to a report from Manager Online, Apple filed for the import application on August 5th, where it was approved on August 8th. The models numbers for the two new Apple smartphones are A1586 and A1524. Thailand government is required by law to make these types of approvals public, but everything else regarding the iPhone models is kept secret.
