Apple ID PW change

Here’s the situation. My in-laws were both Apple fans. Both with iPhones etc.

This can’t be a new problem. They had an isp that no other family member has. Their Internet was canceled after they died in August.

Is there any way we can change the Apple ID password of the iPhone and iPad without access to the email?

If you know the email address, use the Apple Support app on one of your Apple devices.

Open the app, go to “Passwords & Security”:

Select “Reset Apple ID password”

Tap “Get Started”:

Choose “A different Apple ID”, if your own ID is visible there:

Then follow the instructions.

If this doesn’t work, you might have to contact Apple Support or visit the next Apple Retail Store.
