According to a fresh report coming from Macotakara, it seems that Apple is getting ready to revamp its retail locations. The company could be looking to introduce new accessory displays and reduce the quantity of third-party products.
At the moment we are not aware if this is coming directly from Angela Ahrendts, the person Apple hired to oversee its retail operations, but according to hearsay, it could be her idea.
The new accessory displays have first been spotted in Apple’s recently opened Upper East Side store. Now it seems that Apple plans to revamp the accessories at its other stores in a “premium” manner starting from next month. Apple will deploy new accessory displays and packaging at select retail stores.
The accessory packages will be uniformly displayed in white, and it seems that Apple will also reduce the number of products (mostly from third-party sellers) it sells in its retail stores to focus on higher-quality items.
