Apple Opens Apple Watch App Submissions To All

The release of the Apple Watch is just around the corner. A limited amount of app developers were able to submit updates for apps, integrated with Apple Watch support, since February. Until now, only those select few developer were able to submit Apple Watch apps, but now Apple is ready for the masses.

Apple announced Tuesday that it would be opening up App Watch apps and update submissions to all developers. Several developer's Apple Watch apps have already seen updates in the App Store and can be downloaded today.

Apple's WatchKit Website has also been updated, allowing developers to optimize their apps with the app's name, description, icon, screenshots, keywords, version number and build number.

The Apple Watch is set to release on April 24 with pre-orders beginning April 10. Yesterday we learned it might be easier to pre-order the device instead of going into the Apple Store.
