According to former Google and PayPal exec Mike Dudas, Apple Pay accounts for nearly one percent of all transactions in less than a month's time. Whole Foods' CIO Jason Buechel told The Wall Street Journal last week that Apple Pay has already processed more than 150,000 transactions. Dudas did the math and it seems about 0.91% of transactions are from Apple Pay in Whole Foods.
This is simply fantastic news for Apple, not only because the fruit company gains a small percentage of every transaction, but also showing that Apple Pay is something sought for by consumers. Apple's new mobile payment service will definitely become more interesting in the upcoming months and years.
