AppleInsider reports today that a new job listing by Apple indicates that the company is planning to market the Apple Watch not just as a fashion device, but also as something that could be of use in the enterprise.
The new advertisement, posted this week, is for an “Apple Watch marketing specialist,” who will be working with Apple’s Business Markets team with the aim of encouraging businesses to “focus on applications of the Apple Watch in the enterprise space.”
The listing says that the ideal person for the job will be comfortable in developing web, mobile, audio, video and social content, and be skilled in writing, Keynote, and Photoshop. An applicant with a background in “Health/Wellness” will also be thought of as a “plus.”
In what sounds like a very wide-ranging job remit, the successful candidate must also run “perpetual competitive analysis” and keep an eye on how the Apple Watch is progressing in the enterprise.
