9to5 Mac reports that Apple has today released the third iOS 6 beta as an over-the-air update for those developers running iOS 6 beta 2, as well as releasing it to Apples iOS Developer Center. 9to5 Mac says that at the time of writing it is not known what changes are featured in the new beta, but it expects it to be primarily bug fixes and performance enhancements, and theyll be checking to find out if there is anything more major than that contained in the update. Basically, what this means for the non-developers amongst us, is that iOS 6 has just got a little closer to being released, which means were ever closer to getting our hands on Apples new Maps app, and all manner of enhancements to current apps such as Siri, Safari, Mail, iCloud, and shared photo streams. There is still no official date set for the release of iOS 6, with predictions ranging from August to September.
