While not as important as Apple's release of iOS 9.3, the fruit company today release the latest watchOS 2.2 firmware. watchOS 2.2 mainly brings bug fixes and stability improvements, but also has changes made to a few other features.

Maps on watchOS 2.2 now has been revamped and now has support for Nearby. Nearby uses data from Yelp to help users find nearby stores, restaurants, etc. The search option in Maps on Apple Watch is now tappable, instead of requiring a Force Touch action. Folks can also switch between using standard and transit information.

While this addition is not for everyone, watchOS 2.2 includes the ability to pair multiple Apple Watches to a single iPhone. This is useful for folks who may have two different models for exercise and looking fancy. The feature is also useful for developers who may want to develop apps supporting different watchOS firmwares.

watchOS 2.2 can now be downloaded directly through the Watch app on iOS 9.3
