The latest generation iPhone has been launched a few months ago, but that doesnt mean Apple is resting. Not by a long shot. As a result, we are already seeing rumors which indicate that the Cupertino giant is planning to release very soon, not one, but three distinct handsets which are supposed to carry on the iPhone legacy.
According to the publication posting the information, China Times, we will see the iPhone 5S and the iPhone Math versions being launched in June, while a third model will be out just in time for Christmas, possibly the lowcost iPhone.
Rumors about the budget version of the iPhone have been spawning all across the Internet, but this is the first time news of a third handset emerge. According to the publication, the iPhone Math will be a 4.8-inch device and will feature 8-mega-pixel cameras. The lenses will apparently be built by Chinese company Largan Precision.
However, back in December, a note sent to investors by Jefferies analyst, Peter Misek, seems to corroborate the story:
Several iPhone 6 prototypes appear to be floating around. The model with a 4.8″ screen is the most interesting. It has a Retina+ IGZO screen, a new A7 quad-core processor variant, and a new form factor with no home button. Full gesture control is also possibly included.
DigiTimes, as well, has released a report saying that a device with a larger screen was most likely in the works at Apples development labs. It all seems promising up to this point, so well have to wait and see if new details emerge.
