Apple’s Cyber Monday Gift is Free Holiday Shipping Until December 22

AppleInsider Reports that in honour of Cyber Monday, the first Monday after Thanksgiving in the US when people go crazy buying stuff online (apparently!), Apple has announced on its US online store that from today until December 22, all purchases in the US online store will be shipped for free. Normally you would have to spend over $50 to get free shipping, so basically this means that those wanting to buy cheaper gifts from the online store, such as accessories, will benefit. The ‘free shipping for all products’ long-term deal is unfortunately only available in the US, but AppleInsider says that other online stores such as Canada, the UK, France and Spain are offering free standard shipping on all online orders placed today, Monday, November 28. Other countries get even less than that, though, with the Australian store only offering free gift wrapping for iPods and iPads bought online from now until December 25.
