On Monday Apple seeded iOS 8.4 beta 2 to developers, bringing various bug fixes and trending searches in the Music app. The firmware holds the build moniker 12H4086d and can be applied through Apple's developer portal. Folks already running iOS 8.4 beta 1 can update over-the-air simply by going to Settings > General.
Fixes in this beta include the availability of the search feature in the App Store for iPads, CarPlay improvements with the Music app, as well as a fix for an issue cause by 'Made for iPhone' GPS accessories.
Trending searches within the music app seems to be the only feature added in this iteration. Now users searching songs via iTunes Radio will receive a list of trending searches based on what one might be listening to.
iOS 8.4 Beta 2 is now available to all participating in the iOS Developer Program.
