Apple Watch 2 to Enter Mass Production in Q2 2016

Earlier this month, TechCrunch reported that we might not be seeing a second-generation Apple Watch release in March. However on Tuesday, DigiTimes reports that the Apple Watch 2 is scheduled to enter mass production be Q2 2016.

Along with this news the Taiwan-based publication claims that Quanta Computer will remain the sole manufacturer of the Apple Watch. Previously, it was believed that Apple would shift some orders to Foxconn Electronic, however according to this report that is not the case.

The Apple Watch 2 is rumored to be announced some time in March of this year. The new model is rumored to keep the same screen resolution, adding a FaceTime video camera into the bezel.
