The clock is counting down the time until we're able to pre-order the Apple Watch tonight. Although the device won't be available to consumers until April 24, a UK-based electronics repair site got its hands on an Apple Watch sapphire crystal front glass.
iPhonefixed decided to put the front glass display through a series of rigorous tests to see how durable the glass was. The team used everything from sandpaper to a drill, in attempt to put a scratch into the component.
The front glass piece returned from the tests in one piece and without any scratches. It appears the front of the mid-range and high-end Apple Watch models will be pretty darn durable.
