We know the official pricing for the Apple Watch and when exactly will it be available, but many were wondering about its battery life, since it's a real challenge to develop a battery that will be able to provide a satisfactory lifespan for such a small device. But it seems that Apple has managed to achieve this.
Tim Cook said that the Apple Watch will be able to run all day before charging each night. As for its exact battery life, the device will be able to go 18 hours under typical use. And when the battery gets depleted, you can charge it easily with the Apple Watch magnetic charging cable that sticks to the device.
As for the competition, Samsung says its Gear S smartwatch gets about one to two days of typical use out its battery, while Pebble claims to last five to seven days. However, these devices won't get the power-sucking apps and don't have the power-drawing hardware like the Apple Watch.
