Apple's Christiana Mall store in Delaware claims title for selling most iPhones

According to a story ran by ABC News, the Apple Store that sells more iPhones than any other store in the United States is the Christiana Mall store, from Newark, Delaware. It wasn’t Apple who provided this information, but the actual workers from the store. They told ABC News that the 39-year-old, single-story mall sells "more iPhones than anyone."

Employees also said that Apple’s Fifth Avenue flagship store outpaces the Christiana Mall store in revenue, but it falls behind the Delaware outlet in iPhone sales. The reasons for the success of this store lie in the fact that it benefits from a unique geographic positioning and the fact that Delaware charges no state sales tax.

The Christiana Mall store is also a veteran location, being among Apple's first retail stores, opening its doors in 2004.
