Apple's co-founder Steve Jobs has passed away

This is the saddest news we've ever had to post, so i'm just going to refer to the statement released by Apple a few minutes ago.

CUPERTINO, Calif., Oct 05, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today.

Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve.

His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.

What a sad day. My moms cat died this morning, then I read this. Steve was a great man & will be truly missed. He was truly a genius!! R.I.P. Steve Jobs.
