Apple's iMessage service is is used by the vast majority of iOS and Mac users, but recently has affected by an abundance of outages. Today the service affected 30% or almost one in three iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Mac users.
There was also something fishy over on Apple's iCloud Status Page. During the outage, the page mentioned that "30%" of iCloud users were hit by the outage, no iMessage going in or out. Later on the wording was changed to "Some users were affected". Obviously the company does not want any bad press and "some" sounds far better than "30%".
By now, iMessage should be working just fine, but how long until the next outage? Sneak sneaky Apple.
