Apple’s World Gallery ad campaign was first launched in March, featuring photos from its new iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. A few weeks ago, Apple has updated its "Shot on iPhone 6" webpage with four new impressive videos.
And now, it has been announced that Apple has won the top prize in the Cannes Lions Outdoor category with its Shot on iPhone campaign. The competition focuses on open air ads such as billboards, posters and creative environments.
Apple’s Shot on iPhone campaign was praised by jury president Juan Carlos Ortiz for showing a new way of doing things and changing user behaviors. The Shot on iPhone World Gallery showcased images from 162 users and was marketed in 73 cities in 25 countries.
