apps delete issue

i need a help...please help me if anyone already recognized the problem.

i just updated my iphone 4 ios to latest version available.
after that i tried to delete one of my apps. but when i long press the icon, it starts jiglilng but the cross sign doesnt appear. as a result i cant delete any apps.

how i can solve the issue....please help if anyon knows

try a hard reset,hold down the home and on/off button until the apple appears,let go and the phone will reboot,this can fix many issues.

What app are you trying to delete? Stock iPhone apps (Phone, Camera, Messages, etc.) cannot be deleted via the "wiggle" method.
