ARGH!!! Winmail.dat is driving me KRAZEEEE!!! Emailed File Attachments Issue

I sometimes get email attachments and they show up as winmail.dat and it's very annoying and my iPhone can't do a thing with them and sometimes I have no problems with attachments.

I just now sent a message to my iphone with a jpeg image and the iPhone only shows it as winmail.dat but when I forward the message back to my PC it shows as the normal jpeg which I can open fine.

This problem crops up every once in awhile and usually goes away after a bit but it's very annoying.

Does anyone have any ideas what's happening and/or how to correct it?

It's so funny that you googled that up and that it's absolutely correct.

Almost every time I have an issue with electronics or almost anything, I've found that google finds me links that get the advice I need quickly.

For some stupid reason, this time I went to the forum instead of google.

VOILA!!! That solved it and thanks for pointing out the obvious. As soon as I recover from my brain fart I think I'll google up how to keep myself from such stupid mistakes....
