Armageddon is on its way, but dont worry, its not the end of the world or anything, Armageddon is actually a tactical strategy game thats coming to iPhone/iPod touch this July, courtesy of Meridian Digital Entertainment.
In the game, the player gets to take control and play the commander of units from Magnus in a fight against Licinius, who has turned the country into a brutal dictatorship with no care or interest in its people. Its up to you to restore peace and order to your country.
As a commander, you control the flow of your own units, tailoring them to suit missions at hand, and ensuring that your own bases are secure and untouchable. You can change and equip different types of special moves that are obtained through boss stages, and a new special move will become available as each enemy boss is defeated at the end of each level.
If multiplayer action is your thing, the game also features a versus system that enables two players to battle each other via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, so that you can take on your friends in the ultimate strategy game between good and evil, democracy and dictatorship.
The game includes 16 different types of unit, 70 stages, 8 special moves, and 3 unique game modes. No word yet as to exact pricing or when in July the game will be released.
