Asking the Experts For Help Here

My Iphone 4 been acting weird here now. My phone will work for a little bit then after I open up Safari or an app my phone will quit all sounds. I don't get no sound for e-mail or text nothing. Then I turn my phone off then on again then it works for a couple of minutes then bam right back to no sounds.

I missed two very important e-mail/text cause of not having the sound work to notify me of text/emails.

Any help on this please.

Go in Settings>Sounds>Ringer and Alerts ON>New Voice mail ON, New Mail ON,(Set everything on) You can also set your Ringtone and Text Tone ON

Perform a hard reset.

Verizon walk me through a rest but went through the setting and did it, was that a hard rest on a soft rest. And Bluring all my sounds are on in settings. I will turn the phone on and it will work for about 2 minutes then no sound again.
And bab2010 can you tll me how to do a hard reset plz.

To do a hard reset, push down both power and home buttons down for about 12s, during those 12s the device will power off and then comes on again with apple white logo, once you see the logo, release both keys. If that doesn't help solving your issue then go to settings> general> reset> reset all settings. After that restart your phone.
