Assigning Ringtones/Text Tones

I was wanting to know if there's a way to assign the same ring tone/text tone to multiple contacts at the same time.

not sure what you mean? when you add contacts you can chose ringtones or go in later and edit the ringtones

What I mean is if you can add a ring tone/text tone to multiple contacts at the same time, or do you have to do them one by one.

afaik its one by one.. there might be an app or a tweak to add more at a time.. hopefully some one else might know
