Attaching a Ringtone to Incoming Text Message

While pluged into my computer I downloaded a ringtone I want to use for when I get text from my wife. The ringtone is in my music but I can not figure out how to attach it her text message's. I know how to change the ringtone but I DO NOT see my new ringtone on the list. How do I move it?

Since it's showing up in your Music list in iTunes... use this method to make it a Ringtone.
